Our Story

I started this business out of a love for two things: people and great conversations that happen when drinking and eating. After eleven years of being involved in memorable events in the catering world, the next best thing was a mobile bar! I'm still excited about my involvement in catering, but excited to merge both worlds together. We strive to bring the best experience possible to our clients.

Tumbleweed Tavern was an idea that I bounced around for many years, my best friend and husband was the one that helped me take the plunge! We started this journey in February of 2021, and the goal was to have the tavern done by my little cousins wedding, August 2021. This was a wedding gift to him and his bride, and has become so much more to me then I ever thought it would be-we hope you get the same feeling of joy as well.

We have some exciting news to add to Our Story, Tumbleweed Tavern is now available to provide catering as well, starting August 2024 our books will open. At this time we are able to provide Charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and or cups/cones. We will be a start to finish service. From table settings to appetizers, drinks, dinner and table clearing. We would love to be part of your special day!

Prior to the event she came and scoped out the venue to see where the Tavern would be best located, she arrived to the event with plenty of time to set up and made sure she brought enough "back up" items for a plan B as it was very windy and the Tavern was outside on the day of the event. The Tumbleweed Tavern was such a wonderful addition to our wedding day. The beverage trailer provided our guests with a charming bar experience and the set-up and take-away was completely handled by the Tumbleweed staff, allowing my spouse and I to focus our time with our guests. I can’t recommend the Tumbleweed Tavern enough to any couples looking for a unique bar experience, that is easily placed within your chosen venue space.
